TPF Shorts 2.3.2012......Really, the NBA? An All-Star game after, what, 25 games?! Great news, fans who need to be lied to their faces that Andrew Bynum is indeed a better player than guys like Kevin Love and LaMarcus Aldridge. I know it probably makes you guys a ton of money, but I can't imagine anyone watching this mess or even caring about it. Plus, it's in Orlando this year. Dwight Howard IS Orlando and that guy doesn't even want anything to do with that city. And did anyone ever tune in to see the ASG when it was legitimate? I think the closest thing people got were the Slam Dunk Contest and Celebrity games after being passed out drunk imagine-watching Kyra Sedgwick's "The Closer." Craig Sager could actually die during the broadcast and we may never know. Wake me up when the Bulls and Sixers are mixing it up for Beast supremacy, will ya?......

Friday Football Blotter - The Internet....Is Dead

As many of you have already heard, The Internet Body is trying to censor what we say and do on here...including my right to pick terribly at football games. Will we stand for it? NO! They even showed me last week by only handing me one loss. Those cruel, cruel devils.

Last week: 8-1
Season: 58-51-1
Nebraska at Michigan - PICK EM
These will mostly be brief, as I am in a time crunch today. The Big House, against a susceptible quarterback? I gotta believe Michigan wins this one and stays in the Big10 title hunt.

The pick: Michigan 31-29

Arizona at Arizona State - O/U 68
Arizona looked brilliant against UCLA's underrated defense, but will it be enough to defeat their heavily favored in state foes? Maybe not, but enough to cover that spread.

The pick: OVER 68

USC at Oregon - (-14.5)
The Trojans come in a little banged up, but I still think they have enough firepower to hang with the undersized OU defense and cover.

The pick: USC covers 14.5

Penn State at Ohio State - PICK EM
Far too much Buckeye for this team to handle at home, especially with Braxton Miller in a rhythm.

The pick: Ohio State 27-12

Wisconsin at Illinois - O/U 51.5
I predict Zook's guys will come out fast and furious, but as long as Russell Wilson is QB, you know he's covering these gifted spreads.

The pick: OVER 51.5

Bengals at Ravens - O/U 40.5
No AJ Green for the Bengals means no offense frankly. And with Ray Rice struggling to find running room? This could be boring.

The pick: UNDER 40.5

Titans at Falcons - O/U 44
I like the dome atmosphere and two accurate kickers to push this over the top. Harry Douglas also stepped in nicely in OT for Julio Jones, didn't he?

The pick: OVER 44

Chargers at Bears - PICK EM
This is a classic Chicago flop at home even though Matt Forte should bounce back to his MVP ways. I just like Rivers too much against that patchwork secondary.

The pick: Chargers 34-24

Chargers at Bears - Philip Rivers O/U 1.5 INT
15 on the season through 9 games for Rivers...it'll be windy, but I have a feeling he'll show up despite not having Malcolm Floyd.

The pick: UNDER 1.5 INT

Eagles at Giants (-4.5)
The Eagles lost by more than that at home to the Giants and that was with healthy Vick. Who knows how he will come out? And with Maclin possibly gone...the safe money is at home here.

The pick: Giants cover 4.5

Chiefs at Patriots (-14.5)
That's a huge NFL spread folks, but the Chiefs offense has been dreadful these last two weeks. Expect Tyler Palko to struggle, even against that soft Pats D.

The pick: Pats cover 14.5
